Girls Nationals 2014 Announced, Host Sought

2014 National Girls Tournament Announced. Host Bids Sought. August 14th, 2013 The 2014 High School Girls Rugby National Championship Tournament will take place May 17th and 18th. The National Girls Rugby Coaches Committee (NGCC), comprised of coaches from around the country, will be accepting bids to host the 14th Annual National Tournament through Oct 20th, 2013. Potential hosts should send a letter of interest to any member of the NGCC below. A host is sought to build off of the success at the 2013 tournament featuring a Division 1 and a Division 2 championship, along with a third festival division. Help grow the girls youth game at the team level. Hosts will be expected to:

  1.  Procure quality, full sizes fields for 16-24 teams with three matches for each team. 
  2.  Provide suitable medical staffing for an event of this size 
  3.  Provide local accommodation and rental information 
  4.  Coordinate with referee societies, as well as collegiate and selectside coaches 
  5.  Provide timely score reporting and match webcasting
