The hard charging Amazons knocked off the Dashers in the rematch of their quarterfinal from a year ago. It was a bruising encounter against a huge Amazon squad.
On a bad dump tackle, DSHA flyhalf Beth Pokorny suffered a serious knee injury in the first half, forcing a reshuffled backline. The Dashers also lost flanker Kayla Pavela to injury along the way. Despite several nice linebreaks from the speedy and skilled Dashers in the second half, the Dashers couldn't complete the comeback.

Kent played their tight game well and almost pulled off the upset. Two plays held up in the tryzone killed off Kent's chance to put in. The big scores they needed. Fallbrook continued to face all challengers and keep them out of their tryzone.
