DSHA 62 Brookfield 0
CMHS 43 Oak Creek 5
CMHS 32 Menomonee Falls 0
In freezing cold conditions, DSHA was able to build a comfortable lead against cross-town rivals Brookfield. Brookfield, returning to a strong forwards game under a new coaching staff, showed it continues to improve with a large contingent of young, developing players.
In a split-squad scrimmage, CMHS was able to defeat a short-handed Menomonee Falls team in a shortened, 40 minute match. Freshman Myra Dillett and sophomores Brittany Silas and Maggie Wesolowski scored tries for CMHS.
CMHS also faced Oak Creek and their vaunted old-school rolling maul attack. Fresh off a close loss to California-based Mother Lode and a Bowl Final in the Fullerton Youth Invitational two weeks ago, Oak Creek came to play in an entertaining back-and-forth match. Unfortunately, several of their more experienced players were unavailable for the open-sub scrimmage. Sophomore Molly Langhenry was able to score a try and kick four conversions for CMH. Oak Creek's Alyssa Schneider scored.
