The Playoff Picture

With the playoff picture clearing up and one week remaining in the conference schedule, there are a few things we know:

-The DSHA v Fond Du Lac game this weekend determines the North-South conference championship.

-Three teams have a shot at 2nd place in the North-South Conference and the final seed to the Championship (top 4) playoff bracket.  Brookfield, Fond Du Lac, and Oak Creek could still all end up at 2-2, creating a three way tie.  The tie breaker in that case would be a standard bonus point system. (4 for a win, 1 bonus point for 4 or ore tries, 1 bonus point for a loss of 7 or less).

-Catholic Memorial is the Classic Five conference champions.

-DSHA jv has locked up the #2 spot in the C5 conference.

-All of the semifinal matches will take place at Minooka Park in New Berlin.

2:30pm       C5#3 v  NS#4

#5 in each conference has a bye and play for 9th place at the state tournament.
