For over twenty years, girls high school teams throughout the Midwest have come together to compete in a two-day tournament. Held mostly in the central location of Elkhart, Indiana at the Moose Rugby Grounds, the event hosts multiple brackets of competitors in a girls-only event that's among the largest girls events of the year.
The 2022 tournament returns to its traditional three match, two day Saturday-Sunday format, after a pandemic-enforced shortened one-day version last year.
This year marks the first year that two Michigan teams compete in the Championship Bracket, with a third in the Open Division. While a decade ago, there were as many as four Michigan teams that would travel and compete, the growth of Michigan girls teams both in terms of numbers and strength continues to add to an already-competitive event.
